Rigid, over-correcting bracing for growing children.
The CMP Brace is a rigid, asymmetrical 3D brace that uses curve classification and corrective movement principles for optimally focused correction.
Focused, over-correcting design.
Unlike many other rigid braces, the CMP Brace uses curve classification and corrective movement principles to offer optimally focused correction. It combines spinal elongation and realignment to optimise in-brace curve reduction, providing good conditions for correction during growth.
Treatment objectives vary by age and condition, but rigid braces like the CMP generally aim for an in-brace curve reduction of around 50%.

Conditions the CMP Brace treats.
- Infantile scoliosis
- Juvenile idiopathic scoliosis
- Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis
- Neuromuscular scoliosis
- Congenital scoliosis
- Syndromic scoliosis
Specific indications vary by age, curve type, level and magnitude — CMP treatment is usually appropriate from 25° upward in growing children, and in selected cases as high as 60°.
Brace Wear
Worn 20 hours a day. The brace may be removed for sport, dance and prescribed physical therapy, within a maximum 4-hour daily brace-free allowance.
Treatment Outcomes
- Stable curve reduction in Cobb angle 2+ years after brace treatment ends
- Prevent or slow curve progression
- Stabilise the curve at pre-treatment levels
- Avoid progression to a surgical level
- Delay surgery to an optimal age, allowing full growth potential
