Bracing
Which brace is right for you?
We work with three brace systems, each suited to a different age group and curve pattern. Here's how they compare.
Scoliosis bracing is a non-surgical treatment that uses a custom-fitted brace to guide the spine and help stop a curve from getting worse while a child is still growing. In adults, bracing is used mainly to manage pain and posture. The brace type depends on age, curve size and how the curve has behaved over time.
| Brace | Type | Best For | Wear Schedule | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SpineCor Brace | Dynamic (flexible) | Idiopathic scoliosis in growing children; also used with adults | Worn discreetly under clothing, typically full-time | Learn more |
| CMP Brace | Rigid (over-correcting) | Infantile, juvenile and adolescent idiopathic, neuromuscular, congenital and syndromic scoliosis, typically from 25° upward | Worn 20 hours a day, removable for sport/therapy within a 4-hour daily limit | Learn more |
| TechnoSpine Brace | Adult TLSO (posture-correcting) | Adult degenerative or adult-onset scoliosis, especially where pain tracks with postural imbalance rather than curve size alone | Self-adjustable fit system, configured to one of eight posture types | Learn more |
The right brace depends on age, curve type, magnitude and how the curve has behaved over time. This comparison is a starting point — your accredited fitter will confirm the right option for you at assessment.
